Instead of your prices being based upon the purchasing power of a single organization, our vendor agreements are backed by the combined purchasing power of thousands of member organizations across the country. Our members access this multi-billion dollar purchasing power and essentially get pricing that is typically reserved for massive corporations that have deep pockets and entire purchasing departments dedicated to getting the best price.
+ How much can we save?
The savings opportunity is unique to every organization but is usually substantial. From a total dollar savings perspective for all Trinity/HPSI members, foodservice provides greater savings than any other area. However, you may find even greater percentage savings on propane, janitorial supplies, office supplies, furniture and other products. We conservatively estimate that our members collectively save over $15 million every year.
+ Is there a membership fee?
There is no cost for participation in Trinity/HPSI.
+ How is Trinity/HPSI funded if membership is free?
We are funded by our vendor partners through a very small percentage of the sales volume generated by our members, and this is how we can bring this service to you at no charge and with no obligation.

+ How do we order our products after we join?
You still order your products directly from the vendor but simply use your membership with us to receive discounts.
+ What foodservice distributors serve Trinity/HPSI members?
The agreements with Sysco, US Foods, Gordon Food Service, Food Services of America, Ben E. Keith, Performance Foodservice, Shamrock, Feesers, Martin Brothers, Springfield Grocer, Cashwa Distributing, and HFM allow Trinity/HPSI members to enjoy multi-billion dollar purchasing power on every item in their inventory. The pricing of all items is computed on the basis of their “laid-in” cost (their actual purchase cost plus freight to their local warehouse) plus the margin specified in the HPSI agreement. In addition, many more manufacturers have agreed to provide substantial discounts on thousands of items to Trinity/HPSI members, reducing their cost even further.
The specified Trinity/HPSI pricing structure is applied by the foodservice distributor’s computer system to each Trinity/HPSI member’s account, so the servicing sales representative has no ability to increase prices. This is a very significant benefit. We have seen numerous instances involving multiple companies in various industries of “lowballed” prices used to get a “foot in the door” that drifted up significantly over time as a sales representative thought he or she could raise them without the customer’s noticing.
